Steve Alford to New Mexico?

So, apparently rumors are swirling all about that Hawkeye head coach Steve Alford will be upgrading from the Big Ten to the Mountain West, taking over as head coach of Los (New Mexico) Lobos. Any opinions on how this will work out for the U of I?
